Founder of Greensi
Greensi was born out of the knowledge gained from working with companies on growth strategies. I have travelled and worked in different contexts. I can say that I have a keen interest in change, in unusual paths, in getting back into the game at any age and under any conditions. Models that are applicable today for companies that are going through a tsunami of changes: globalisation, political and financial crises, the digital revolution, and finally the disruptive effect of climate change. I started to deal with innovation as a necessary condition to ensure growth. I arrived at Sustainability, which is closely linked to Innovation and Change.
There is no growth possible for a product or a process that is not designed from the start to be sustainable. Impacting less throughout the life cycle, from production to consumption to post-consumption: this is what the Circular Economy teaches us today and what we must pursue.
I have learned a lot from the world of packaging, which cuts across so many sectors: from resources to end-of-life and recycling. Observing, listening, not only enlightened entrepreneurs, or technicians, but simply people with the desire to get involved: citizens of the world proudly linked to their territory. I want to transmit these values and support those who, like me, believe that the only way forward is through sustainable development.
Giuseppe Borsalino, sustainable and visionary entrepreneur, an ESG pioneer. From a small suburb in the province of Alessandria, he brought Made in Italy to the world with a hat that became an icon of style and brand. And without forgetting his social commitment, workers, women, his territory: he founded a hospital and created employment for women. Today we would call it Corporate Social Responsibility.
