The per-course
The issue of packaging has always been important, and everyone who is in the business of selling a product knows this well, and it must reach the consumer in the best possible way, in different places by conveying images, brand values and instructions.
Packaging today
But today packaging takes on other valences besides functional, marketing, and logistical ones.
Talking about packaging today is difficult without considering its end-of-life, i.e., waste, an increasingly serious problem for municipalities, which has taken on a perception even among consumers to the point of demonization especially when we talk about materials such as plastic , increasingly in the crosshairs of environmentalists, NGOs, and consumers themselves.
The European strategy
Europe has developed a strategy that outlines guidelines, legislative measures with a road map to address the packaging and waste problem with very clear objectives apt to reduce, reuse, recycle packaging according to principles of the Circular Economy. And while it is not possible to do better than nature, where "zero waste" is already possible according to a wonderful natural order, ambitious, progressive targets have been set by the European Commission: to recycle 65 percent of all packaging by 2025 and to increase the target again to 70 percent in 2035.

These are some of the main topics covered in this per-course:
- From analysis to perception of the problem
- Possible solutions such as design, ecodesign, renewable and recyclable materials
- Adopting an analytical and design approach from the very beginning, from "birth," in the choice of packaging, so that after use, and thus in its "end of life," it has less impact
- Lca - Life Cycle Analysis - from cradle to grave - following guidelines and standards, but above all responding to the growing demand for sustainability, increasingly in the experience of today's and tomorrow's consumers
Last and not least, we want to reaffirm the value identity of packaging, which if well managed is a valuable ally and not an uncomfortable enemy.
